Mamikon Nakhapetov from Georgia is the winner of the 3rd prize of the 13th International Edvard Grieg Piano Competition, which took place in Bergen, Norway, 1-8 September 2012 (www.griegcompetition.com). Nakhapetov was also the winner of the prize for the best performance of the new piece by the Norwegian composer Lasse Thoresen, and here he performs this piece, Invocation of Crystal Waters, written especially for the competition.
